Fees

Our fees are usually based on actual time and expenses involved.

Our goal is to provide the highest level of legal services in an efficient and economical manner. In most cases, our fees are based on actual time and money involved. For certain other legal matters, a flat fee is appropriate. Some cases, such as personal injury litigation, are handled on a contingency fee basis. This fee method is based on a percentage of the money obtained for the client. If there is no recovery, no fee is charged.

Fee arrangements are normally discussed with your attorney during the first conference. Estimates of both time and fees will be discussed at this time. Sometimes a retainer will be appropriate. In lengthy proceedings, our fee will be billed periodically. In some matters, fees are generally payable upon completion of our firm's work.

Our modern facility and up-to-date office technology and library allow expedient handling of your work. You will be given an estimation of the type and amount of work necessary for you. Sometimes, of course, the best of estimates may be changed because of unexpected developments. You will be informed, should this situation develop. This process is an important part of the attorney-client relationship and is one that should be handled in a practical manner. Our recommendations will be directed toward obtaining the best overall results for you.
